Indian migrant workers during the COVID-19
pandemic have faced multiple hardships.
With factories and workplaces shut down
due to the lockdown imposed in the country.
So our NGO is raising funds to help
them with food and other essentials



What is the goal of our NGO?

Our organisation works for the urban
poor by introducing sustainable livelihoods
through an area-based community model.
This also includes establishing skill training
centres for the youth. With covid-19 having
adversely affected the migrant population.



Other work done by our organisation

We have contributed in the field of education
through dissemination of scholarships to the
students of primary and junior school of the
government schools. Every year we distribute
approximately over 100 blankets in the
month of January to the needy and poor.



Future aim of our NGO

Our NGO exist for a variety of purposes, usually to further the political or social goals of their members. Examples include improving the state of the natural environment, encouraging the observance of human rights, improving the welfare of the disadvantaged, or representing a corporate agenda.



How this NGO was formed ?

Give India headquartered in New Delhi , India located is an NGO . It was established in 2002 and has a presence in 25 Indian states. As of 2020, the Foundation has reached nearly 400,000 children and their families.
Mithila Shekar co-founded this Foundation in 2002 with a group of young corporate professionals, primarily works with the underprivileged in the areas of education, health, livelihood and empowerment.

       

Campaigns:
In August 2018, the Give India and Triumph Motorcycle partnered to organize Freedom to Ride, a group ride in 16 cities in India to support girls' education
Swedish telecommunications company Ericsson has developed a web-based training module for the Foundation's Twin e-learning program. In 2018, Ericsson announced that it would provide Internet connectivity at 34 Give Inida education centers across India.
Give India launched its tele-counselling during lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19 infection and help people across India through guidance on their health and mental well being.
The foundation also works on disaster relief across India.
